Virtual Free Accredited CME Event in Arkansas

The Arkansas Medical Foundation (AMF) and Wales Behavioral Assessment (WBA) are pleased to offer an upcoming Free CME opportunity for Arkansas Healthcare Professionals. There is no fee associated with participating in this accredited CME activity. 
 

This CME series will cover professionalism-related topics, including :

  • Common behaviors that result in medical board actions.
  • The connection between physician well-being and professionalism
  • The importance of establishing and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. 

This CME program will be accredited through the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). 1 Hour of AMA category 1 style credit for participants who complete all steps of the CME process (Sign-In, Pre-Test, Post-Test) for each session participated.

Danny Wilkerson, M.D.

Dr. Wilkerson is the Executive Director of the AMF. 

In addition to his 40-year career, he is a past president of the Arkansas Society of Anesthesiologist, the Pulaski County Medical Society, and the Benton County Medical Society. He is currently a faculty member at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is also a chairman of the Arkansas Medical Foundation Board of Trustees. Dr. Wilkerson just ended his term on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Anesthesiologist. He is a Fellow in the American Society of Anesthesiologist, and diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology. 

Betsy Williams, PhD., M.P.H.

Dr. Betsy White Williams is the Clinical Director at the Professional Renewal Center. 

For the past 13 years, her research and clinical focus have shifted to issues concerning, high accountability professionals. She has extensive experience working with high accountability professionals, in particular healthcare professionals. Her work with physicians includes addressing concerns related to clinical competency, substance use disorders, burnout, professional boundaries, disruptive behavior and aging. In this work she has provided assessment treatments and remedial education/treatment services.
